On May 4, 2024, Mr. Narong Juisuey, Deputy Director-General of Department of Corrections (Administration), visited Khao Prik Agriculture Industrial Institution to inspect its operation on โครงการร่วมใจภักดิ์ รักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม (Save the environment – United loyalty to the King Project) dedicating to the 6 Zodiac Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2024. Mr. Winai Sangkhiao, the Director of Khao Prik Agriculture Industrial Institution, along with the Institution officers, warmly welcomed and guided him through the planting area of the Project.
The next day, on May 5, 2024, Mr. Narong continued his inspections at Khon Kaen Central Prison and Khon Kaen Correctional Institution For Drug-Addicts. Mr. Narong was welcomed by Mr. Jak Limbut, the Director of Khon Kaen Central Prison and Mr. Piyawat Korsurad, the Director of Khon Kaen Correctional Institution For Drug-Addicts. After that, Mr. Narong visited Ratchaphatsadu (Royal) Land under Phoen Lek Minor Prison of Loei Provincial Prison. He was welcomed and guided through the survey of the land by Mr. Phanomkorn Phodjana, the Director of Loei Provincial Prison and the prison officers.
In all of the inspection visit, Mr. Narong called a meeting with the directors of the prisons and correctional institutions he visited, to pass on the DOC policies, aiming to improve the correctional operation toward the international standards.
