On May 18, 2024, Mr. Narong Juisuey, Deputy Director-General of Department of Corrections (Administration), visited 3 prisons to inspect their operation, details as follows:
11 A.M., visited Phang Nga Provincial Prison, with purpose to inspect its operation on weekends. Mr. Mittraroon Phrom-in, the Director of Phang Nga Provincial Prison, along with the prison officers, welcomed and guided Mr. Narong throughout his mission.
2 P.M., visited Ta Kua Pa District Prison, with purpose to inspect the prison’s wall, dormitories operation and overall facilities on security. Mr. Jaroon Nak-Kaew, the Director of Ta Kua Pa District Prison, along with the prison officers, welcomed and guided Mr. Narong throughout his mission.
Later, at 6.30 P.M., visited Ranong Provincial Prison to inspect its prison’s wall, dormitories operation and overall facilities on security, and the density of inmates population. Mr. Anusorn Nampheung, the Director of Ranong Provincial Prison, along with the prison officers, welcomed and guided Mr. Narong throughout his mission.
During all of his visits, Mr. Narong delivered an encouraging speech to the prison officers, highlighting the importance of unity among officers and legality, as well as the discretion when on operation. He also delivered administrative directions, aiming to furtherly improve the custodial operation. To conclude, he instructed inmates to comply to prison order and maintain good discipline.
