Between June 1 and 2, 2024, Mr. Narong Juisuey, Deputy Director General of Department of Corrections (Administration), visited 4 prisons and 1 correctional institution to inspect their operation on weekends, details as follows:
On June 1 , at 3 P.M., visited Kabin Buri District Prison, with purpose to inspect its new buildings construction.
On June 1 , at 5:30 P.M., visited Sa Kaeo Provincial Prison, with purpose to inspect the prison’s overall facilities and operation.
On June 2 , at 10 A.M., visited (New) Nakhon Nayok Provincial Prison, with purpose to inspect the prison’s overall facilities and officers’ operation on new location.
On June 2 , at 1:30 P.M., visited Chachoengsao Central Prison, with purpose to inspect the prison’s overall facilities and operation.
On June 2 , at 4 P.M., visited Chonburi Women’s Correctional Institution, with purpose to inspect the prison’s wall, dormitories operation and overall facilities and operation.
During all of his visits, Mr. Narong delivered an encouraging speech to the prison officers, highlighting the importance of unity among officers and legality, as well as the discretion when on operation. He also delivered administrative directions, aiming to furtherly improve the custodial operation toward international standards. To conclude, he instructed inmates to comply to prison order and maintain good discipline.
