On June 26, 2024, Pol. Lt. Col. Shane Karnjanapach, Deputy Director General of Department of Corrections (Academic), led a team of Director of Penology Division, Director of Thonburi Remand Prison, Director of Thonburi Women Correctional Institution, Director of Samut Sakhon Provincial Prison, and DOC officers, to collect waste in the area of Bang Khun Thian Mangrove Forest Learning Center, as part of “Ruam Jai Phak Rak Sing Wad Lom” project (Save the Environment – United Loyalty to the King Project), in honor of the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024.
Additionally, total number of 60 inmates, both males and females, were brought by the aforementioned Directors of Prisons and Correctional Institution to join this campaign, as part of the inmates training program, that has them perform public work, an act of good citizenship.
