On May 21, 2024, at 8:30 A.M., Ms. Worada Wasannanthasiri, the Director of Medical Services Division, presided over food preparation safety training workshop for prison officers assigned to oversee the prison kitchen.

The purposes of the workshop are to instructed the associated officers to be knowledgeable on food and water sanitation, personal hygiene, and practical in managing cooking facilities, catering foods for both inmates canteen and outside food product shop. To be able to organize training of standardized operation for inmates working in prison kitchen and carry on the practice of serving prison food product with quality from the beginning to the finishing product, in line with international standards.

The same workshop was held 3 times, on May 21, May 23 and May 24, for the accessibility of every practitioners of every prisons and correctional institutions. The Department of Health of the Ministry of Public Health also sponsored instructors to the DOC on this workshop.
