On July 14, 2024, at 9 A.M., in front of the Ministry of Justice Building, Police Colonel Tawee Sodsong, the Minister of Justice, presided over the dredging of city sewers operation by working inmates, about to be carried out by working inmates from numerous prisons and correctional institutions as part of the “Ruam Jai Phak Rak Sing Wad Lom” project (Save the Environment – United Loyalty to the King Project).
The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Wantanee Wattana, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Mrs. Pongsawat Neelayothin, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Justice, and Mr. Sahakarn Petchnarin, Director-General of the Department of Corrections, alongside other MOJ executives and officers. After that, Pol. Col. Tawee, Mrs. Pongsawat, and Mrs. Wantanee delivered speeches to encourage the working inmates, and explain the significance of this event.
Following the speeches, all the executives and officers participated in inspecting the dredging operation in front of the MOJ Building. and the correctional officers drove the rest of the working inmates to carry out the operation in other area in Bangkok as planned.
