On July 23, 2024, 9 A.M., at Department of Corrections conference room, Mr. Sahakarn Petchnarin, Director-General of the Department of Corrections, attended and provided a speech at “Puang Pra Cha Ruam Pha Lang Jai Rak Laeng Nam” (People join forces in preserving water resources) CSR campaign opening ceremony, in honor of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 6 Zodiac Birthday on 28 July 2024.
The ceremony was presided by Ms. Preeyaporn Suwanaged, Director-General of the Pollution Control Department (PCD). Several delegates of organizations attended the ceremony including: Nonthaburi Municipality, Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, Nonthaburi Provincial Office of Natural Resources and Environment, The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG), and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), together with DOC HQ directors and officers, and volunteer citizens
After the conclusion of the ceremony, the attendees join hands with working inmates from nearby prisons and correctional institutions, to carry out community service, collecting waste along the waterside of Bang Phraek Canal, in the area of DOC HQ, ฺWat Bang Phraek Nua, and Wat Bang Phraek Tai.
