Tak Central Prison Receives NMPC’s Moral Organization Award and 2 Outstanding Prison Awards of “White Prison” Campaign on the Occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

On June 26, 2024, at Tak City Hall in Mueang Tak District, Tak Province, Mrs. Pinmanee Mahaprukchaikul, Director of Tak Central Prison, received the Moral Organization Award from the representative of the National Moral Promotion Committee. This recognition honored the prison’s upright and efficient overall operations.

Coinciding with the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Tak Central Prison additionally received another two distinguished awards for their exceptional efforts in the “White Prison” Campaign, highlighting the prison’s productivity in both the suppression of narcotics and the rehabilitation of inmates with a history of drug abuse. The awards were presented by Mr. Somchai Kitcharoenrungrod, the Provincial Governor of Tak Province.

As part of the day’s events, the prison officers also organized an exhibition booth showcasing made-in-prison products, under the TO BE NUMBER ONE project.
