The Correctional Officer from Tasmania Prison Service visits Klong Prem Central Prison and Bangkok Remand Prison

On 29 January 2020, Mr. Robert James Howard, the Correctional Officer from the Tasmania Prison Service, Australia, was welcomed by Mr. Wichai Chotpatiwetkun, the Director of Klong Prem Central Prison on the occasion of his visit to the Klong Prem Central Prison before visiting the Bangkok Remand Prison in the afternoon.

During the two visits, Mr. Howard had the opportunities to gain insights into the mission and the operation of the Klong Prem Central Prison and the Bangkok Remand Prison regarding their control and security measures, vocational training programmes as well as medical services in prison.
