Five focuses in 2022 : Next Normal
Recently, Mr. Ayuth Sintoppant, our Director General has given new policies to tackle problems Thai prisons are facing, such as COVID-19 and prison overcrowding. The following guidelines are : ‘ Reduce prison overcrowding, prevent recidivism, provide chances for reintegration, improve inmates’ rights, improve correctional staff’s performance, employ new technology and eliminate organizational corruption.’
We keep looking for ways to improve and create better conditions in prisons.
